Her father, Amulya Kumar Mukherjee, held the distinguished position of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, whilst her mother, Kalyani Mukherjee, was a passionate advocate for cultural expression. Recognising her immense potential, she later relocated to India to pursue rigorous academic training, enrolling at the globally acclaimed Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. This beautiful partnership was tragically severed on 18 July 2022, when Bhupinder Singh passed away—marking a deeply poignant loss just one day before Mukherjee’s birthday. The bereavement left a profound void in her life, yet her resilience continues to inspire her countless admirers.
Throughout her career, her institutional impact has been widely recognised, notably on 9 October 2015, when City Bank presented her with the “Gaane Gaane Gunijon Sangbardhana” lifetime achievement honour.
