Prominent Bangladeshi model and actress Sadia Islam Mou is set to appear in an upcoming music video titled Pencil Hill. The visual production has been directed by filmmaker Shoaib Ahmed, according to an official press release issued by the production team.
The track has been performed, written, and composed by musical artist Asif Altaf. In addition to creating the song, Altaf will feature alongside Mou as the co-model in the music video, marking a collaborative project between the director, the musician, and the veteran actress.

In the official press release, Sadia Islam Mou reflected on her selective history with the music video format, drawing a chronological comparison to her early career milestones.
“During the initial phase of my career, I participated alongside Zahid Hasan in a music video for the song Amar Gorur Garite, which was broadcast on a television magazine programme,” Mou stated. “The landscape of music videos has evolved significantly since then, with a high volume of productions currently being made. Although I regularly receive numerous proposals, I rarely find the opportunity to accept them.”
Mou further clarified the specific factors that influenced her decision to join this project:
“When Asif Altaf approached me and explicitly stated that I was indispensable for the music video of Pencil Hill, the unique title immediately piqued my curiosity. Upon listening to the track, I found it to be highly unconventional. The composition effectively captures the deep melancholia inherent in modern life, which ultimately convinced me to accept the role.”

Explaining his decision to cast the veteran model, Asif Altaf noted that the song had been completed well in advance of the casting process. His primary objective was to secure a performer whose screen presence could match the specific atmospheric requirements of the lyrics.
“The song Pencil Hill was written and composed a considerable time ago,” Altaf explained. “My primary focus was to find an artist who truly complemented the thematic essence of the track. It suddenly occurred to me that we could extend a formal proposal to Mou, who has been a revered artist since our childhood. Her subsequent agreement to join the project was exceptionally positive news for me.”
The music video is scheduled for a simultaneous digital launch across both YouTube and Facebook platforms on Chand Raat.
