Pakistani hip-hop artist Talha Anjum has been ranked as the country’s most-streamed artist for the fifth consecutive year, according to Spotify Pakistan’s recently published five-year “Wrapped” review. The platform announced the results via an Instagram post, highlighting long-term streaming trends across the country’s music industry.

The latest ranking places Anjum at the top of the list, followed by Atif Aslam, Umair, Hasan Raheem, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Talha Yunus, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abdul Hannan, Maanu and Asim Azhar. The list reflects a mix of contemporary pop artists, hip-hop performers, and established classical and playback singers.

Talha Anjum, a member of the hip-hop duo Young Stunners alongside Talha Yunus, has played a significant role in popularising independent rap music in Pakistan. These include “Jhol”, “Pal Pal”, “Wishes”, “Bikhra”, “Munda”, “Tu Hai Kahan”, “Iraday”, “Kahani Suno”, “Nahi Milta” and “Pasoori”. The selection illustrates a blend of mainstream pop, indie, and fusion tracks that have contributed to shaping Pakistan’s contemporary music landscape on global streaming platforms.
