Initially, the lineup also included noted music arranger Fuad al Muqtadir and members of his associated music group. His photograph had also been featured in early promotional posters. However, it was later removed from updated publicity materials. The organisers have not provided further clarification regarding the change, and his participation, along with his group’s involvement, remains uncertain.
Interest in the “Own Your Story” concert has grown significantly among music enthusiasts in Dhaka, with audiences awaiting confirmation of the final experience and performance structure.
According to the organisers, extensive arrangements have been made in terms of security, sound engineering, and stage production. They stated that efforts are being made to ensure a high-quality live music experience for attendees. Entry to the venue will be allowed from 4:30 PM with tickets required for admission.
The organisers also described the concept behind the concert as reflecting modern urban life, where individuals often experience rapid routines and limited moments for reflection. They explained that music, in their view, offers a structured space for collective engagement and artistic expression, particularly when performed live by established artists in front of a shared audience.
Habib Wahid has also expressed support for such initiatives, stating that regular live music events of this nature can help meet audience demand for Bengali music experiences, allowing listeners to engage more deeply with live performances. Pritom Hasan has similarly noted his anticipation for sharing the stage with Habib Wahid, describing the collaboration as a significant moment in his performance journey.
The concert is expected to continue until 10:00 PM.
