BTS Announce Australian Tour Dates for 2027 Concert Series

BTS have officially announced an Australian leg of their ongoing world tour, marking a significant addition to their international concert schedule. The announcement was made via the group’s own fan forum platform, confirming that they will perform in both Sydney and Melbourne in February 2027 as part of the tour titled ‘BTS WORLD TOUR: ARIRANG IN AUSTRALIA’.

According to the announcement, this will be the group’s first major performance in Australia since their 2017 visit during the ‘WINGS’ tour. The news has drawn considerable attention as it forms part of their wider return to large-scale global touring following a period of reduced group activity.

Pre-sale registration for the Australian leg has already commenced. The official ticket sales are scheduled to begin on 4 June. The tour schedule confirms four shows in total, split between Melbourne and Sydney.

In Melbourne, BTS are scheduled to perform on 12 February and 13 February 2027. The group will then travel to Sydney for two additional performances on 20 February and 21 February 2027. Each city will therefore host two concerts as part of the Australian segment of the tour.

The Australian announcement forms part of a broader global touring cycle currently being undertaken by the group. BTS are described as being in the midst of one of their largest world tours to date. Earlier in the year, they released a 14-track studio album titled ‘ARIRANG’, which serves as a central element of the tour’s setlist and promotional activity.

The group also released a music video for the track ‘SWIM’, which featured actress Lili Reinhart, known for her role in Riverdale. This release formed part of the album’s promotional rollout.

The tour marks BTS’s first group comeback in four years following a previously announced hiatus. During this period, the members completed their mandatory military service obligations and also pursued individual solo music projects, focusing on separate creative directions.

The current world tour began in April, with its opening performances held in South Korea. Since then, the group has continued to perform across multiple international venues, presenting both new material from the ‘ARIRANG’ album and selections from their earlier discography.

The addition of the Australian dates expands the geographical scope of the tour and confirms continued international activity following their return to group performances and large-scale touring.
