Bangladeshi musician and songwriter Nafeez Al Amin has officially announced his forthcoming Extended Play (EP), titled Beshi Joss. The upcoming release comprises four tracks that represent the culmination of multi-year songwriting efforts combined with collaborative contributions from several prominent local and international instrumentalists.
Production and Technical Overview
The entire tracking process for Beshi Joss was completed within Nafeez’s personal home studio. Notably, all instrumentation—including acoustic drums—was engineered and recorded in-house. While the active production, mixing, and tracking phase demanded three months of continuous studio work, the origins of certain musical compositions featured on the record trace back as far as 2004.
Rather than conforming to a singular musical genre, the EP integrates a diverse variety of sonic styles and arrangements. Nafeez served as the primary lyricist for the project, authoring three out of the four songs. The singular exception is the track “Shomoyke Chariye”, the lyrics for which were penned by Ashfaque Pallab.
Collaborative Roster
The project features a diverse lineup of guest musicians from the Bangladeshi rock and metal circuits, alongside contributors from the international music community.

Future Releases and Promotional Tour
Reflecting on the intensive production cycle, Nafeez stated that the process required three months of significant dedication, highlighting that some of the foundational compositions had been preserved for over two decades. He further indicated that Beshi Joss serves as the initial phase of a broader release strategy. The songwriter intends to distribute additional material in the subsequent months, with the ultimate objective of expanding the current body of work into a cohesive, full-length studio album.
To support the upcoming launch, promotional plans are currently being finalised. Nafeez revealed that he intends to transition the home-studio project into a live setting by embarking on a performance tour spanning multiple states. These promotional efforts will include appearances at multicultural festivals and various concert events designed to showcase the new material to broader audiences.
