Speaking about those difficult days, he said,
“I couldn’t even check into a hotel because I didn’t have a credit card. I ended up sleeping right outside the hotel. My father had sent me some money, but the rules were strict.”
After two nights on the streets, an Indian couple, moved by his plight, helped him book a hotel room using their credit card. Dhillon recalls this as a turning point in his life:
“The trust and kindness of strangers gave me the courage to keep going.”
Hard Work and Education
While pursuing his college education, Dhillon took on multiple jobs, often working long hours to make ends meet. His experiences in these roles shaped both his work ethic and character.
