The song is a collaborative effort in its lyrics, penned by both Arfin Rumi and Emdad Sumon, while Rumi himself has composed the music and provided the melody. The music video for Apon has been produced with a slightly cinematic approach, showcasing Rumi in a vibrant performance alongside model Samiha Akter. Interestingly, a few months ago, snippets of the song’s audio were leaked online, quickly going viral across social media platforms and trending on both Instagram Reels and TikTok. This unexpected buzz prompted CD Choice to fast-track the full video release, recognising the song’s growing popularity.
Speaking about the project, Rumi described Apon as “a purely romantic track” and highlighted the significance of Kheya joining him after almost eight years for a duet. He added, “The audio and video both contain several surprises for the audience. I’ve experimented with a slightly different style in my performance, and I’m confident listeners and viewers alike will enjoy the overall experience.”
