Sabrina Carpenter has opened up about her childhood dream as she gets ready for a major role in Disney’s upcoming untitled musical film.
After wrapping up her sold-out Short n’ Sweet tour, the singer took to Instagram on November 28 to reflect on her journey and the dream she’s had since her youth. In her post, Carpenter shared, “Short n’ sweet tour ohhh boy this show really was everything I’ve dreamt of making since I was young.”
She continued, “This, combined with a literal house that became a home of a stage + working with the sweetest, most talented hardworking souls every day, so much laughter and moments that felt straight out of a sitcom, has meant that I am feeling every bit of this ending and feeling it hard!”
The 26-year-old also expressed gratitude for the impact of the tour, revealing that she raised over $1.5M for important causes, including the @jedfoundation, @bestfriendsanimalsociety, @lgbt_national_hotline, and the @translawcenter.
For those who may not know, Sabrina began her fifth concert tour, Short n’ Sweet, on September 24, 2024, and it wrapped up on November 23, 2025.
This update follows reports that Carpenter is set to star and produce an untitled Disney movie. The Grammy-winning artist, who began her career as a child actor on Disney Channel in the role of Maya Hart in Girl Meets World, is now gearing up to take on a leading role in a musical film based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland for Universal Pictures.
