Two prominent figures in Bangladesh’s music scene, composer Rajesh Ghosh and lyricist Anurup Aich, have collaborated on a song for the first time in their long professional journey. Although the two have shared a personal relationship spanning 25 years and have admired each other’s creative work, they had never previously worked together on a musical project.

Their first joint creation, titled ‘Keno Hoili Na Amar’, has been sung by vocalist Khaled Munna. The emotional melody, featuring lyrics by Anurup Aich, composition by Rajesh Ghosh, and musical arrangement by Rozen Rahman, will be included in Khaled Munna’s upcoming solo album.

The album marks Munna’s return to solo releases after a gap of 12 years. It will be released by Dhruva Music Station and will feature a collection of 10 songs. While the title of the album has not yet been finalised, the project brings together contributions from several well-known lyricists and composers from Bangladesh’s music industry.

Speaking about the collaboration, Anurup Aich said that he and Rajesh Ghosh have known each other for many years and have always respected one another’s creative abilities. However, despite their mutual appreciation, circumstances never allowed them to work together on a song. He credited Khaled Munna’s initiative for bringing them together and making the new track possible.

Rajesh Ghosh also expressed his happiness about the collaboration. He said that he and Anurup Aich had continued their respective journeys in the audio industry, with each following their own creative paths. According to him, Anurup’s lyrics have always appealed to him, while Anurup has also appreciated his compositions. However, a lack of opportunity prevented them from joining forces until now.

For Khaled Munna, the upcoming album represents an important milestone in his musical career. The singer expressed gratitude to Dhruva Music Station and its founder Dhruva Guha for supporting the project. He said that several respected lyricists and composers from the country’s music community have contributed songs to the album, making the work a memorable experience for him.

Over the years, Rajesh Ghosh and Anurup Aich have established themselves as respected names in Bangladesh’s music industry through their distinctive creative styles. Their first-ever collaboration, introduced through Khaled Munna’s new project, has generated interest among music lovers who are looking forward to hearing the combined artistry of two experienced creators.
