Bangladeshi singer Milon Mahmud, widely recognised for tracks such as Grameenphone’s promotional song Swopno Jabe Bari Amar, has unveiled his latest single, Treadmill, released on 6 November 2025 across two YouTube channels—Milon Mahmud and Samir Express. The song is a collaboration that highlights the talents of lyricist Dr. Kazi Saleheen and composer/arranger SK Samir, combining thoughtful words with a modern, melodic soundscape.

Treadmill is a romantic track infused with poetic imagery, featuring lines such as: “On the treadmill, your brown body races, your gaze is enchanted by the magic of music…” These lyrics set the tone for a reflective and emotionally resonant narrative, exploring the love and intimacy shared by a young couple.

Milon Mahmud elaborated on the song’s intent: “This is a song with a unique dimension. The lyrics paint a vivid picture. The song was created keeping young listeners in mind. For me, Treadmill holds a lot of emotion and represents a completely different feeling. It expresses the emotions of a young couple in a romantic genre.”

The accompanying music video, directed by Soumitra Ghosh Imon, complements the song’s mood with striking visuals. Featuring models Saddam Shihab and Dimple Ahmed, the video brings to life the song’s modern, romantic narrative through expressive storytelling, choreography, and cinematography. Music director Samir described the project as “a beautifully coordinated video made to complement the song’s emotional depth.”

Composer SK Samir explained the creative approach: “We tried to step away from conventional patterns to tell a story of modern life, love, and the rhythm of mechanical existence. I blended rock music with the melody to create a harmonious bond between the pace of life and love.” The fusion of genres and inventive arrangement provides a fresh listening experience, merging energetic rhythms with heartfelt romantic storytelling.
