Megan Moroney Announces Third Album and Massive Arena Tour

Country music star Megan Moroney’s concert productions are set to become substantially larger. On Thursday, she officially announced the dates for her upcoming ‘The Cloud 9 Tour’ in celebration of her third album, a venture that will see her performing at major arenas throughout North America. Moroney will commence the tour in Columbus on 29 May, with subsequent stops in major cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Boston, Orlando, Portland, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The United States leg of the tour will conclude on 21 August at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Thereafter, the singer will proceed to Europe and the United Kingdom for shows in September, with a final European performance scheduled for 1 October in Belfast.

Tickets for the Cloud 9 tour are set to go on sale to the general public at 10:00 am local time on 12 December. Fans wishing to secure their places early can sign up for presale access starting 11 December at 10:00 am local time. Moroney captioned her announcement with excitement, stating that the Cloud 9 Tour is coming soon to an arena near her fans. Last month, Moroney revealed that her third album, Cloud 9, will drop on 20 February and will feature her singles “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things”. Similar to her previous albums, Lucky and Am I Okay?, Kristian Bush acted as the lead producer on this project.

Speaking about the album in a statement, Moroney explained that, much like her first two albums, this work is written entirely about honest and personal experiences. However, she emphasised that these songs were composed by the strongest and most confident version of herself she has ever been. She noted that her feet feel firmly planted in her artistry, and it was enjoyable to play around sonically whilst still adhering to the roots that she and her fans adore. According to her, Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and she has no doubt that this will be her best chapter yet.
