Pop icon Lady Gaga has announced a new audiovisual production titled Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem, a cinematic presentation of her live performance era that extends the creative vision of her 2025 album Mayhem. The project is set to premiere at 8 p.m. Pacific Time on Apple Music and will also receive a one-night-only theatrical screening across selected AMC venues in the United States.
The production has been developed and directed by Morningview, which captured Lady Gaga’s live performance at The Wiltern on 14 January. That concert formed the basis of the film, featuring reinterpreted versions of tracks from the Mayhem album, presented with newly arranged instrumentation and a more restrained, atmospheric sound design compared with the studio recordings.
Positioned as the concluding chapter of the Mayhem era, the film embraces a darker, gothic aesthetic inspired by the “Mayhem Ball” concept. The staging incorporates theatrical lighting, shadow-heavy visuals, and stylised set design that reflects the emotional intensity of the album’s themes. Songs such as Abracadabra and Disease are reimagined with stripped-back arrangements, offering a more intimate interpretation of the original material.
Following its initial premiere, Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream the full concert film on demand, alongside an immersive spatial audio version designed to enhance the listening experience. During the premiere window, however, the film will be accessible free of charge, without requiring an active subscription.
The theatrical component is being distributed through AMC Theatres, with screenings limited to selected cities. Audience members are required to register online in advance, as capacity is restricted and demand is expected to be high. The rollout spans 15 cities, including major cultural hubs across the United States.

Beyond the film itself, the project includes a digital engagement layer through Shazam. Users who identify tracks from the Mayhem era will gain access to exclusive thematic content, including customised wallpapers and Apple Watch faces, extending the album’s visual identity into interactive formats.
Industry observers have described the release as more than a conventional concert film, framing it instead as a multi-platform artistic statement. By blending live performance, cinematic direction, and digital interactivity, the project highlights Lady Gaga’s continued evolution as a performer who bridges music, theatre, and visual art.
Ultimately, Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga Mayhem Requiem serves both as a culmination of the Mayhem creative cycle and as a curated experience designed for both digital audiences and cinema-goers, reinforcing the growing convergence between live music and immersive media storytelling.
