In February 2023, his only son, Kumar Nibiro, suffered a severe road accident, leaving him critically injured and altering the family’s life entirely. After a prolonged stay in a Canadian hospital, Nibiro is now receiving regular physiotherapy and rehabilitation at a centre in Mississauga.

Throughout his son’s recovery, Bishwajit and his wife have devoted themselves to his care, often spending days and nights by the hospital bedside.
