Hilary Duff has revealed the details of her upcoming album luck… or something, set to be released on February 20th.
A pop culture icon, Hilary Duff has navigated a career filled with highs and lows, growing up in the public eye and remaining a household name for over two decades. Her recent single, Mature, marked a triumphant return to music, and now the American singer and actress has confirmed the release of her sixth studio album.
In a statement, Hilary explains the meaning behind the album title: “I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry. The album title is my way of answering that question. It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something’. Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me.”
The new album luck… or something is a reflection on Hilary’s past, while also looking forward to the future. She has teamed up once again with her husband, GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Matthew Koma, and hitmaker Madison Love to co-write her latest single, Mature.
With the album’s announcement, fans can expect more personal and introspective tracks as Hilary continues to evolve as both an artist and a person.
