Fred again.. Takes Fans on a 10-Show Journey Across Europe with USB002

This month, Fred again.. embarked on a highly anticipated, whirlwind tour—a series of 10 shows in 10 cities over 10 weeks. The UK producer’s unique undertaking is part of the release of his latest project, USB002. Each week, Fred is unveiling a new track from the project, which follows the success of his previous release, USB001.

USB001 featured a string of hits, including “Jungle,” “Baby Again” with Skrillex and Four Tet, “Lights Out” with Romy and Haai, “Rumble” with Skrillex, and “Turn On The Lights Again..” with Swedish House Mafia and Future. Now, USB002 is poised to build on that momentum, already teasing collaborations with some of the most exciting names in music today. The first track, “you’re a star,” a collaboration with Australian rock band Amyl and the Sniffers, debuted at No. 7 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Other upcoming releases from the project will feature artists such as Danny Brown, Beam, and Skin On Skin.

Alongside the musical releases, the shows themselves have become a unique experience for fans. Fred has partnered with an impressive array of special guests, with the first three performances featuring fellow producers and artists like Haai, Yousuke Yukimatsu, a group of local Belgian producers, and Spanish talents Drea and Toccororo.

The tour is designed to maximise the experience for those in attendance, as it is a phone-free event. Upon entry, fans are given stickers to cover their phone cameras to encourage full immersion in the moment. This no-phone policy is a deliberate effort to heighten presence and participation. For added sensory impact, the shows also feature an installation by Dutch artist and composer Boris Acket, who has contributed one of his distinctive, billowing parachute-like works to the production.

The USB002 project and tour have garnered much attention, especially as Fred continues to blend genres and collaborate with a wide range of musical artists. This intimate tour format creates a unique connection between the artist and his audience—an experience enhanced by the absence of distractions from social media.

For fans following the journey, Fred again.. is offering exclusive glimpses of each week’s show, with performances already completed in the following cities:

  • Week 1: Glasgow, Scotland
  • Week 2: Brussels, Belgium
  • Week 3: Madrid, Spain
  • Week 4: Lyon, France
  • Week 5: Dublin, Ireland

The tour doesn’t stop there. As part of the ongoing USB002 project, Fred released a new collaboration with Kettama and Shady Nasty titled “Hardstyle 2” on November 3. In a double release, he also dropped “Talk of the Town,” a collaboration with Sammy Virji and Reggie, further adding to the growing excitement around the project.

As the USB002 journey continues to unfold, Fred again.. is cementing his reputation as a boundary-pushing, genre-blending artist, making each show not only a musical experience but a fully immersive event for fans lucky enough to be there.
