Renowned vocalist Bappa Mazumder has released a new duet song alongside young singer Bithi. The track, titled “Kothay Jeno”, has been published alongside a music video featuring actors Partha Sheikh and Aisha Khan, both of whom are prominent figures in Bangladeshi television drama.
The lyrics of the song have been written by Shahan Kabondho, while the composition and musical arrangement have been carried out by Bappa Mazumder himself. The music video has been produced under the supervision of Sondha Rani Saha and directed by Raj Islam. The video was recently made publicly available through Bithi’s official YouTube channel.
According to Bappa Mazumder, “Kothay Jeno” carries a distinct style compared with other contemporary duet songs. He stated that the production has been developed while maintaining its own artistic identity. He further noted that both he and Bithi have made efforts to deliver strong vocal performances to enhance the overall musical quality of the piece.
The music video has been described as visually refined, with emphasis on aesthetic presentation. Both Bappa Mazumder and Bithi have expressed optimism that the combined musical and visual elements of the project will be well received by audiences.
In parallel with this release, Bappa Mazumder continues to remain active in the music industry, working on solo projects as well as new material with his band, Dalchhut. Recently, he also drew attention for a duet titled “Tumi Bolelei”, performed with singer Tina Russell. That song was written by Zulfiqar Russell, composed and arranged by Bappa Mazumder.
Prior to these releases, Bappa Mazumder also gained appreciation for his solo track “Ei Bhalobasha”, written by Mahi Flora. The composition of that song was done by Ehsan Rahi, with musical arrangement by Amzad Hossain.
