The Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist has confirmed a two-date tour that will see him perform in Johannesburg and Cape Town this coming December. Known for his raw, fierce guitar playing, distinctive high-energy vocals, and uncompromising artistic vision, White remains one of the most compelling performers of the modern rock era.
The South African leg kicks off on Friday, 11th December 2026, at The Old Park Station in Johannesburg. Following this performance, he will travel down to the Mother City to play at the historic Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town on Monday, 14th December 2026. These open-air and industrial venues provide a brilliant backdrop for a musician who has spent decades defying conventional boundaries and redefining what a rock concert can feel like.
Fans attending the upcoming shows can expect a comprehensive setlist spanning his entire, illustrious career. White will draw from his foundational years with The White Stripes—the garage-rock duo he formed with Meg White that defined the sound of the 2000s—alongside material from his acclaimed supergroups, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. Furthermore, the performances will spotlight fresh tracks from his seventh studio album, Frozen Charlotte.
