Seeking a distinctive sonic identity for the track ‘Piya Ghar Aaya – Homecoming’, Hashmi personally approached Sachdeva and granted him complete creative independence to craft something far outside his traditional artistic comfort zone.

The original Awarapan, released in 2007, secured a revered status among cinema enthusiasts primarily due to its iconic, melancholic musical album.
