Also in attendance was Helal Khan, convener of the Jatiyatabadi Social and Cultural Organisation (JASAS). The event was chaired by Kaniz Mowla, Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
In the discussion segment, the Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and poet Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed delivered the welcome address. He stated, “He has enriched our musical world in such a way that the stature of Bangla songs is now often measured around the voice of Syed Abdul Hadi. The quality of a young artist’s performance is frequently assessed in comparison with his style of singing. There are very few music enthusiasts who have not, at least once, attempted to sing a song performed by him.”
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Secretary of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
