In the discussion segment, the Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and poet Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed delivered the welcome address. He stated, “He has enriched our musical world in such a way that the stature of Bangla songs is now often measured around the voice of Syed Abdul Hadi. The quality of a young artist’s performance is frequently assessed in comparison with his style of singing. There are very few music enthusiasts who have not, at least once, attempted to sing a song performed by him.”
