Zahid Nirab Releases Eid Song with Family Ensemble

This year’s Eid celebration brings an extended playlist of new songs, including a unique release from singer and composer Zahid Nirab. Marking a first in his career, Nirab has collaborated with his father and siblings to present a special musical offering. The song, a qawwali titled “Shukriya Hasnah”, penned by lyricist Manzur Elahi, is scheduled for release on the eve of Eid. It will be available on Zahid Nirab’s official Facebook and YouTube channels, as well as the YouTube channel of Prime Bank.

Speaking about the song, Zahid Nirab shared, “We have always sung together as a family. My father plays the harmonium while I sing into the microphone—this is how my musical journey began. My elder brother Zubayed Al Naeem performs on the tabla, my younger brother Hasibul Nibir plays the guitar, and Mehedi Hasan Tamjid accompanies us on the rabab. The performance we used to present on stage in Munshiganj is now captured in this recording.”

He further reflected on the inspiration behind the song: “The lyrics are remarkable. It reminds us to express gratitude for the countless blessings that the Creator has granted us. That realisation forms the heart of this song.”

Interestingly, the song originated from a jingle composed for Prime Bank. Zahid Nirab explained, “The song was initially a jingle for Prime Bank. I loved its concept and lyrics so much that, with permission, we developed it into a full song. Video production is an essential part of this release. My longtime collaborator Kausar Islam Pranto and his team played a crucial role in bringing this vision to life.”

Currently, Zahid Nirab is experiencing a busy period in his music career. He continues to work across advertising, television dramas, and films. His compositions are set to feature in multiple Eid releases this year, highlighting his growing influence in the entertainment industry.
