Three-Day Music Festival Set for Waterford

This August Bank Holiday weekend, the scenic Carraghmore Estate in Waterford, Ireland, will host a spectacular three-day music festival, promising an unforgettable experience for music lovers from both Ireland and abroad. The festival kicks off on Thursday, 30 July, and will conclude on Sunday, 2 August, creating a long weekend of live performances, cultural experiences, and community celebration.

Festival organisers have officially unveiled an eclectic lineup, featuring a diverse mix of genres—from iconic 1990s Britpop to contemporary electronic music and folk legends. Headlining the event are Pulp, returning to an Irish stage after a 15-year hiatus under the leadership of the legendary Jarvis Cocker. Their comeback performance is already generating widespread excitement among fans.

Electronic music enthusiasts will be treated to multiple high-energy sets from Underworld, who will recreate the immersive rave and dance atmosphere for the third time at this festival, their last performance having taken place in 2022. Adding to the electronic fervour, Disclosure (Howard and Guy Lawrence) will deliver pulsating house and garage tracks, ensuring the party reaches peak intensity.

Emerging artists are also featured prominently in the lineup. Names such as Konikap, Mo Chara, Moglai Bap, and DJ Provai will present their debut shows at ATN, offering audiences a first glimpse of new talent poised to shape the music scene.

Folk legend Christy Moore will perform his first festival set in Ireland after a 14-year break, accompanied by the unpredictable and dynamic Mary Wallopers, whose stage presence guarantees “guaranteed chaos.” Other notable performers include Maribu State, Self Esteem, Ezra Collective, Floating Points, Mogwai, K Tempest, Annie Mac, The Avalanches, and Chet Faker, bringing a total of over 60 acts across 18 stages.

In addition to music, festival-goers can enjoy art installations, gourmet food, and wellness experiences, creating a holistic cultural event. Early ticket sales for the first three phases sold out rapidly, reflecting the high demand. The fourth and final ticket sale phase will open on Thursday, 19 February, at 9:00 am.
