Tasnia Farin and Sabila Nur Await Opportunity to Co-star, Silence Maintained on Kolkata Projects

Tasnia Farin is spending busy days balancing acting with the launch of her production house and focusing on music. Just as she released her new song ‘Mon Golbe Na’, she is preparing for Shakib Khan’s film ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka’, set to begin shooting in December. Amidst all this, she discussed her relationship and potential work opportunity with her popular colleague, Sabila Nur. Tasnia Farin and Sabila Nur started acting around the same time. Although Sabila is older in career and age, the two share a great friendship. They are often seen together at various programmes and even hanging out.

While both started with television dramas, they have since begun their journey on the big screen. Sabila’s first film was ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’. Farin’s first film, on the other hand, was Dhrubo Hasan’s ‘Fatima’. Coincidentally, this year’s Eid-ul-Azha saw the release of Sabila’s ‘Tandab’ (co-star Shakib Khan) and Farin’s ‘Insaf’ (co-star Shariful Razz). With both having their major film release during the same Eid holiday, curiosity has arisen among their fans—will they be seen together in the same film?

Regarding this, Farin said, “We regularly see each other at the gym. She has been working for a long time before me, and she has a fantastic journey.” She added, “She is such a good actress that if any director thinks of making a film with the two of us together, then absolutely, why not! I would definitely want to work with her.” Now, it remains to be seen which director and opposite which hero these two stars will debut—that must be left to time.

A comparative view of Farin and Sabila’s film careers is provided below:

Meanwhile, there is some mystery surrounding Farin’s Kolkata cinema work. Although she debuted there under the direction of Atanu Ghosh, she was supposed to act opposite Dev in a film named ‘Protikkha’ by Abhijit Sen, but she ultimately did not do the film. A few months ago, Farin went to Kolkata to talk about a new film. She does not want to say anything about this right now. She stated, “Many kinds of stories have happened regarding cinema in Kolkata, so I don’t want to say anything. I will announce it only on the day I start shooting, the day I stand in front of the camera.”

Currently, Farin is mainly focused on Shakib Khan’s film ‘Prince’. However, she has clarified that she will continue to work in dramas if she finds a good director, a good script, and if she considers it profitable for herself. She does not want to say that she will never do dramas. She has received a few good screenplays for OTT content. However, everything will happen after the work on the film ‘Prince’ is finished.
