Popular singer Sajia Sultana Putul has been keeping herself extremely busy with new songs and stage shows. However, recently, she experienced a new and special moment in her life. She was honoured with an award from the very university where she completed her studies.
Putul, who graduated with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music from the University of Development Alternative (UODA), was awarded a special recognition for her national contribution to the field of music. During the award ceremony, she also performed some of her popular songs, making the event even more memorable. Reflecting on the day, Putul described it as an emotional and unforgettable experience.
“This day was extremely special for me, full of both honour and emotion. The university awarded me for my national contribution to music, which brings me immense joy,” said Putul.
She continued, “I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in music at UDA, and I did so on a full scholarship. I am forever grateful to UDA for providing me with this opportunity. When I started university, I was already a professional artist, and thanks to the unwavering support of my professors in the music department, I was able to complete my studies without any interruptions.”
Putul’s recognition from her alma mater has reignited her passion for her career and future projects. She believes that this award will motivate her to achieve even greater success in her musical journey, allowing her to reach a wider audience and contribute more significantly to the music industry.
