His upcoming web series, “Cactus”, is written and directed by Shihab Shaheen. Most of the shooting has already been completed, with the final sequences scheduled to wrap up within a few days. Opposite Hasan, the talented Mehzabin Chowdhury will play a leading role.
Speaking about the series, Hasan shared:
“The character I play in ‘Cactus’ is completely different from what audiences have seen from me before. While I cannot reveal much about the story, I can say it includes thrilling action sequences reminiscent of a 007-style adventure. It is very much an action-oriented series, and the storyline is compelling. I am particularly excited to work with Mehzabin Chowdhury for the first time; she is not only a brilliant actress but also a wonderful co-artist. Director Shihab Shaheen approaches the project with patience and meticulous care. I am confident that ‘Cactus’ will emerge as one of the most celebrated content pieces this Eid.”
Previously, Hasan appeared in another Shaheen-directed web production, “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya”, which was broadcast on Chorki. “Cactus” will also premiere on the same platform. The series features a strong ensemble cast including Manas Bandyopadhyay, Salahuddin Lavlu, Shahadat Hossain, Naziba Bashar, and Sanjida Tasnim.
Beyond acting, Hasan remains active in music. He has gained acclaim for songs in films starring Shakib Khan, including “Tufan”, “Tandob”, and “Borbod”. This Eid, he is recording a new song for another Shakib Khan feature, with further details set to be revealed shortly.
