A fresh and significant development has emerged in the mysterious death of celebrated singer and actor Zubin Garg, sending ripples through both the entertainment world and the general public. The Assam Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT), following an extensive and meticulous inquiry, has submitted a detailed 3,500-page charge sheet to the court. This landmark filing was presented on Friday, 12 December, at the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Guwahati.
According to police sources, the enormous charge sheet was transported in four large trunks and delivered under tight security, with SIT personnel entering the court premises in a convoy of six vehicles. The dossier contains an exhaustive compilation of documents, evidentiary materials, and witness statements, shedding light on the sequence of events, the involvement of key individuals, and the intricate circumstances surrounding the case.
Zubin Garg tragically lost his life on 19 September while scuba diving in Singapore. He had been attending the ‘North East India Festival’ in the city at the time. In addition, statements from over 300 witnesses have been recorded, providing comprehensive insights into each dimension of the alleged crime.
