McFly and Rick Astley to Perform at Lincoln Castle

Pop-rock band McFly and legendary singer Rick Astley are among the headline acts set to perform at Lincoln Castle next year.

McFly will take to the stage on 14th June, joined by rock band Twin Atlantic and the pop trio Remember Monday. Rick Astley will perform on 25th June, accompanied by indie pop band The Lottery Winners.

Councillor Natalie Oliver, Executive Member for Culture at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “McFly and Rick Astley are two of the most charismatic performers of the past four decades. It will be fantastic to see them light up the Live at Lincoln Castle stage.”

McFly, consisting of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd, has scored seven number one singles, seven top 10 albums, and sold more than 10 million records. The band is best known for their hits such as All About You, Five Colours in Her Hair, and Don’t Stop Me Now.

Remember Monday will kick off the evening with viral anthems like What the Hell Just Happened? and More Than Ever.

Rick Astley’s rise to fame began in 1987 with the global success of his single Never Gonna Give You Up, followed by other hits like Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody.

These concerts are part of an exciting partnership between Lincolnshire County Council and Live Nation promoters Cuffe & Taylor, bringing top artists to perform in the iconic setting of Lincoln Castle.

Other performers next year will include Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Deacon Blue, Tom Grennan, Billy Ocean, DJ Pete Tong, and David Gray.
