Manoj Tailor Returns with Soulful Debut Single Tera Mera Pyar

London-based singer, songwriter, and producer Manoj Tailor has stepped boldly into the spotlight with his debut solo single, Tera Mera Pyar. The track blends the classic charm of Bollywood with a contemporary sound, showcasing Manoj’s rich, emotive vocals alongside sleek, modern production.

Originally one half of the successful duo M2K, Manoj is now embracing life as a solo artist, writing, producing, and performing music that honours his roots while reflecting his creative evolution. Tera Mera Pyar, a reimagining of Kumar Sanu’s timeless classic, fuses nostalgia with fresh energy, creating a sound that is at once familiar and strikingly new.

Speaking to Eastern Eye, Manoj shared the story behind his musical journey. He fondly recalls childhood games of Antakshari, his first music gear purchased by his parents, and early studio experiences that solidified his desire to pursue music. “I never thought I would start writing Hindi songs, but the universe works in mystical ways,” he explained. “Now I write, produce, and engineer my own music, and I hope to connect with a universal audience who appreciates good music—regardless of language.”

Manoj cites Kumar Sanu and the legendary Kishore Kumar as his primary influences, particularly their ability to convey emotion and melody in every performance. “Kumar Sanu has been a huge inspiration for my entire career. Their style of connecting each lyric with feeling shapes my singing today,” he said.

Looking ahead, Manoj plans to release four original singles, all produced, written, and performed by him, with collaborations on his radar—most notably a dream project with Arabic music star Nancy Ajram. His personal playlist spans Bollywood, Arabic, R’n’B, Afrobeats, and reggaeton, reflecting a diverse range of musical inspirations.

Manoj’s passion for music remains deeply personal. “Being able to share my voice with the world, creating positivity, and spreading love is what inspires me. Music isn’t just notes and melody; it’s a frequency that can change a room. I was born to do this.”
