Australian singer and actress Delta Goodrem has been officially confirmed to represent Australia at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place this May in Vienna, Austria. The announcement was jointly made by the national broadcaster SBS and production company Beyond Productions. Goodrem is set to perform her latest single, Eclipse, on the stage of Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle.

In a press release, Eclipse is described as “a reflection of the rare moment when shadow and light converge, symbolising clarity, harmony, and the achievement of one’s full potential.” The song was co-written by Delta Goodrem, Feras Al-Kaisi, Jonas Myrin, and Michael Catkin, with production led by Catkin himself.

The music video, directed by Melbourne-born, London-based filmmaker Liam Pethick—known for his collaborations with Ed Sheeran—was produced by acclaimed creative Brian Parnell, who has previously worked with Troye Sivan and Tame Impala. The video showcases the expansive landscapes of Balli Tiller in Newcastle, NSW, capturing a cinematic and atmospheric interpretation of the track.
