Bari Siddiqui’s songs continue to captivate listeners, and his iconic tracks like “Shuwa Chan Pakhi,” “Amar Gaaye Joto Dukhho Soy,” and “Ami Ekta Zinda Lajh” still hold a special place in people’s hearts.
Prince Alamgir, the founder-president of the Bari Siddiqui Memorial Council and a renowned singer, expressed his thoughts, saying: “Bari Siddiqui was not just an artist; he was a singer of the soul. His songs continue to resonate with the human spirit, and they spread the light of spirituality. Our main goal is to share his timeless music with the new generation. We hope this event will be a successful tribute.”
Bari Siddiqui, hailing from Netrokona district, had a deep, soulful connection with his music and flute from a young age. His legacy lives on through his music, which continues to inspire and touch hearts. Though he passed away on 24th November 2017, his songs remain a living, breathing part of Bangladesh’s cultural landscape.
This event will be a unique opportunity to come together, remembering and celebrating the music of Bari Siddiqui, whose work continues to inspire generations.
