Popular singer, composer, music director, and visual artist Shayan Chowdhury Arnob is set to make a musical comeback with his new original album, Vallage Na, marking nearly ten years since his last release.
Arnob revealed that the album will be released on October 30, under Adhkhana Music, with overall support from Eastern Bank PLC (EBL).
According to Arnob’s spokesperson, Troyee, the album features eight songs. Some tracks are inspired by the works of various poets, while the rest are penned by Arnob and his friends. Arnob himself has composed and directed the music for all the songs.
Commenting on the release, Arnob said, “After almost 10 years, I am releasing a full-length album of original songs. I am extremely excited about this project. I have long wanted to work with poetry. The album also includes songs written by my friends Toufiq and Rajib. Musically, I hope everyone enjoys it. I would like to thank EBL for supporting us.”
The songs from Vallage Na will initially be available on Arnob’s official Spotify channel, with plans to release video versions in the near future.
