The third single from Devil, titled Alohomora – The True Emperor, has been released, showcasing Darshan Thoogudeepa in a commanding and intense avatar. The track features the star performing alongside dancers, set to high-tempo music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, which amplifies his powerful screen presence. Written and sung by Aniruddha Sastry, the song adds a fresh and pulsating musical dimension to the film.
Earlier, the film released two singles, Nemadig Irbek and Onde Onde Sala, both of which received an enthusiastic response. Remarkably, the first single garnered over five million views within 30 minutes of release. In Alohomora, Darshan is portrayed in a darker, more intense light, with a striking black-and-grey visual palette that enhances the song’s cinematic appeal.
Fans of Darshan celebrated the song release in the presence of his wife Vijayalakshmi, his brother Dinakar Thoogudeepa, nephew Chandu, and other notable personalities, marking the countdown to the film’s theatrical release on 12th December.
Directed by Prakash Jayaram, Devil features an ensemble cast including Mahesh Manjrekar and Achyuth Kumar. This marks Darshan’s second collaboration with Prakash, following Tarak, heightening expectations for the film. B. Ajaneesh Loknath, composing for Darshan for the first time, provides the soundtrack, with Saregama Music acquiring the audio rights. The project is backed by Shri Jai Matha Combines alongside Saregama.
The film also stars Rachana Rai and Sharmila Mandre as heroines, bringing glamour and energy to the narrative. With high-octane tracks, visually captured by Sudhakar S. Raj, and a strong supporting cast, Devil is poised to make a significant impact, with Alohomora offering fans a first glimpse of Darshan in his ultimate True Emperor avatar.
