Constant Captures Eid Spirit with ‘Sky of Wishes’

Renowned Bangladeshi rock band Constant has released their latest single, “Sky of Wishes”, ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, offering listeners a heartfelt message of love, hope, and reflection. The song, produced under the banner of G-Series, one of Bangladesh’s premier audio-visual production houses, has already begun to captivate audiences both domestically and internationally, marking another milestone in the band’s enduring journey.

“Sky of Wishes” is available on G-Series’ official YouTube channel as well as across leading digital audio streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and other international services, allowing fans around the globe to immerse themselves in Constant’s evocative rock sound.

Ahmad Mostafa Akik, bassist and co-ordinator of the band, explained the inspiration behind the single: “Eid is a time of joy, reunion, and heartfelt emotions. We wanted to gift our listeners a song that touches the deepest corners of the heart. Everyone has a sky of wishes within them—dreams, unspoken thoughts, and desires that float freely. This song is born from that very sentiment.”

According to the band, “Sky of Wishes” is a deeply emotional exploration of love, dreams, and unfulfilled longings. Its lyrics convey the experience of reaching for hidden aspirations, whether in reality or the imaginative expanse of the mind. The track portrays unseen emotions: unrequited love, incomplete dreams, and ethereal imaginings, all woven into rich rock instrumentation. Since forming in 2005, Constant has established a unique position within Bangladesh’s rock music landscape. Their 2014 single, “Dream Parade”, dedicated to the national cricket team, significantly expanded their following. Other celebrated works include “Meghbalika”, “Khoma”, “Sadakalo”, “Asthir Onubhuti”, and “Shadhinota”, each contributing to the band’s reputation for combining heartfelt lyricism with powerful rock melodies.

The current band line-up features Jibon on lead guitar, Rabbi on drums and vocals, Imon as lead singer, and Akik on bass. “Sky of Wishes” represents another creative achievement, reinforcing Constant’s signature style of emotionally resonant storytelling through rock music.
