The countdown to the 2025 MAMA AWARDS has officially begun, and fans are in for a treat! On November 11, the press preview for the upcoming ceremony revealed some of the exciting special stages set to take place at this year’s event, including an exclusive collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters.
At the press premiere, Park Chan Wook, the Head of the Convention Business, joined producers Lee Young Joo and Ma Doo Shik to unveil details about this year’s ceremony and the thrilling performances fans can look forward to.
In CHAPTER 1 on November 28, the spotlight will be on the World of Street Woman Fighter team BUMSUP, who will deliver a special stage performance, with a surprise appearance from the beloved host Park Bo Gum. Additionally, artists from BOYNEXTDOOR, CORTIS, and TREASURE will collaborate for a spectacular performance of 1TYM’s iconic song “Let’s Sing and Dance Together”.
Moving on to CHAPTER 2, fans can expect a touching “message performance” by Kim Hye Soo and Stray Kids’ Felix, while ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han Bin and dancer Kyoka will bring their creative talents to a unique themed stage.
Adding even more excitement to the event, the collaboration between MAMA AWARDS and KPop Demon Hunters will bring thrilling performances that reimagine the legendary tracks of Saja Boys and HUNTR/X. The full member lineup for these stages will be confirmed shortly.
This year’s MAMA AWARDS will also feature BOYS II PLANET group ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s debut performance, marking their first live show since forming. Stray Kids will also raise the stakes with a “mega stage” performance of their much-anticipated new song “DIVINE”.
As part of the celebrations, a special “legend stage” will pay tribute to Super Junior, commemorating their 20th debut anniversary with a medley of their biggest hits from the past two decades.
