Aaoge Tum Kabhi Lyrics | The Local Train | Aalas Ka Pedh | 2015

“Aaoge Tum Kabhi” is one of the most poignant and emotionally resonant tracks by Indian indie rock band The Local Train, featured on their critically acclaimed debut album Aalas Ka Pedh, released in 2015. Seamlessly blending evocative melodies with heartfelt lyrics, the song explores themes of longing, nostalgia, and the silent hope of reunion. Aaoge Tum Kabhi Lyrics :

Kehta Raha Vo
Jaane De Mujhko
Besabri Hai Teri Kami Hai …

Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi
Gayega Ya Sama
Gayegi Ye Zameen
Badlega Ye Jahan
Gayega Asmaan
Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi …
Sehta Raha Vo
Naaa Jaane Kabse …
Bedardi Hai Teri Kami Hai ..
Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi
Gayega Ya Sama
Gayegi Ye Zameen
Badlega Ye Jahan
Gayega Asmaan
Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi …

Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi
Gayega Ya Sama
Gayegi Ye Zameen
Badlega Ye Jahan
Gayega Asmaan
Aaoge Tum Kabhi
Meri Jaa Keh Rahi …

Soch Lo Mujhe Dhoondh Lo Muje
Tham Lo Muje Rok Lo Muje …
Soch Lo Mujhe Dhoondh Lo Muje

Musical Journey and Discography

The Local Train began their musical journey with a series of independently released singles. Their debut album Aalas Ka Pedh came out in 2015, followed by the equally successful Vaaqif in 2018. Both albums ranked among the top five most-streamed rock albums on Apple Music India. Their lyrics, predominantly in Hindi and Urdu, often address socially relevant themes such as communalism, identity, and faith, resonating strongly with India’s younger generation.

Live Performances and Film Feature

Renowned for their dynamic live performances, The Local Train regularly headlines major music festivals across India, including:

Their music also gained international exposure through its inclusion in Pan Nalin’s 2015 film Angry Indian Goddesses, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Formation and Early Years

The band originated in Chandigarh in 2008, when Ramit Mehra, then active in radio, theatre, and local bands, collaborated with Raman Negi on a musical project. Ramit soon introduced Raman to Sahil Sarin, a well-known independent musician and educator with whom he had attended school. This trio laid the foundation for what would become The Local Train.

In 2011, Paras Thakur joined the band, replacing Abhinav Bansal and leaving his civil engineering studies to pursue music full-time. The final lineup took shape in 2012 when Raman left his corporate job at TCS to dedicate himself entirely to the band. Subsequently, the group relocated to Delhi, where they continued to function independently — managing logistics, promotion, and production while consistently releasing singles online.

One of their earliest tracks, Choo Lo, was initially released on MySpace in 2009, undergoing several refinements before its music video launch in 2011. This was followed by singles such as Aaoge Tum Kabhi and Kaisey Jiyun in 2014.
